The Card Access Wireless Motion Sensor Power Adapter allows you to line-power the Wireless Motion Sensor (model numbers WMS10, WMS10-EXT) instead of using a 9V battery—so you never have to replace a battery again.
When connected to any 9-24V AC or DC power source, the Wireless Motion Sensor Power Adapter becomes an equivalent power source to a non-rechargeable 9V alkaline or lithium battery. A replacement pre-notched battery hatch for placing the power wires into the Motion Sensor battery cavity is also included.
The Wireless Motion Sensor Power Adapter is also compatible with the Card Access North American 12V DC External Power Supply (model number NEP10A). One NEP10A can power up to eight (8) Wireless Motion Sensor Power Adapters inside eight (8) individual Motion Sensors.
The Wireless Motion Sensor Power Adapter is CE-approved and RoHS-compliant.
NOTE: Unlike the Wireless Contact Switch and Wireless Contact Relay, the Wireless Motion Sensor does NOT act as a ZigBee repeater when line-powered by an AC/DC power source such as the one provided by the Wireless Motion Sensor Power Adapter.
