OVERVIEW

Card Access Engineering Services works with a variety of companies to develop wireless communications solutions, and get them to market sooner.

Our extensive experience in wireless communications hardware and software development, plus our relationships with the top-tier silicon providers, gives you an unparalleled advantage when it comes to actually getting a product to market and seeing it become a success.

We can help you solve challenges in finalizing design, testing and verification, project management, scaling for manufacturability, and more.

You want us on your team. It’s that simple.

Relationships.
As an experienced partner with the top-tier silicon providers, we provide a direct line to their knowledge base—something that can be extremely difficult to access on your own.

For more than ten years, we’ve been developing wireless communications solutions, creating strong, strategic relationships with many silicon providers, and gaining access to their engineering “secrets.” These companies know and trust our engineers, therefore the products we work on get produced much faster. In fact, our relationships often result in same-day feedback—a rarity these days.

The best commentary on these relationships is that many of the major Wi-Fi silicon providers send us clients that they can’t take on themselves.

Experience.
Card Access Engineering Services has an incredible wealth of experience. It’s made up of the same core team we started with ten years ago—many of whom literally wrote the book on Mini PCI. From the very beginning, our engineers have been at the forefront in developing products using the latest technologies:

  1. We recently shipped the very first compact flash card based on the Atheros 6001 chipset.
  2. We developed wireless, full-motion, 30-frame-per-second video, running at 60Mbps
  3. We developed wireless real-time, CD-quality stereo audio.
  4. We developed the first production 802.11a PC card in the world.

Areas of Specialty
Card Access Engineering Services specializes in small form-factor designs, engineering efficiency, and the technologies you need. (See the list at left.) We also have valuable experience in today’s important wireless markets, including:

  1. New wireless chipset development
  2. Environmentally extreme applications
  3. Military applications
  4. Medical technologies
  5. Consumer electronics
