This connector is used to view debug messages from the AR6001serial port.

The Serial Port Adapter (SDP10A) is used to connect to the 12 pin serial UART connector on the "SDIO 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Card with Extended Test/Debug Section" (SDG10A) and the "Compact Flash 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Card with Extended Test/Debug Section" (CFG10B).

The Serial Port Adapter provides an easy way to convert the onboard 12 pin header to a DB9 serial port connector for easy connection to a PC using a 9 pin male serial cable. This connector is used to view debug messages from the AR6001serial port.
